A 300 game, and 3 games with 11 strikes bowled in a row!! Got some fantastic bowling news, coming your way.
   Jimmy Scruggs rolled a 300 game on Monday, Oct 25 at Lincoln Lanes in the Church No-Tap League. Yes, it was no-tap, but for those of you have bowled no tap, realizes that is a very good score. Good job Jimmy.  3 other guys recently bowled games with 11 strikes in a roll. Let’s congratulate Everett Hargis on 9/29/ with a 290,, Mike Smith on 10/13 with a 290, and Albert Kile on 10/20 with a 279. All 3 bowl in the Creative Concrete & Design Mixed, Wednesday nights, at Lincoln Lanes.
    Let’s get into League reports of high games, starting with the Monday Night Mixed at Bulan’s.  The following rolled scores above 225: Nick Grubbs, 237 and Sammy Jackson, 236. The following all had a series above 600: Sammy  Jackson 606, Sandi Burke 602, and Rich McFarland  622. Also at Bulan’s we had the TNT Mixed League chime in. Brian Warner rolled a 280 game on 10/1. Great game Brian. On the same day, Rick Wade picked up the big 4 split. Way to go. On 10/22, Jerry Sims not only bowled a 275, but also rolled a 700 series, and with the 275, was 50 or more pins over his average.  Also bowling 50 or more pins over average on the 22nd was Jay Hedlund.
Going downtown to Lincoln Lanes, Steve Lamb, of the Tuesday Nite Go-Getters, once again makes the paper with 53 pins over his average, with a 206. Paula Tate was 51 pins over her average with a 158, and Cheryl Rhoton, 54 over her average with a 191.
In the Men’s 332 League, Kevin West rolled a 690 series, with scores of 225, 233, and 232. Tuck Miller picked up the 4-9 split, and Bob Brandt, the 4-5.
In the Senior League, Raymond Berlin rolled 72 pins over his average with a 234.
The Church No-Tap League on Mondays, has understandable high scores and series. Other high games recorded over 225 for men in the no-tap league are:  Joe Williams-263, J R Scruggs-246, Scott Cunningham-241, Kristopher Suchaczewski-241, Albert Syass-238, Jimmy Scruggs-235, J R Scruggs-231, and Mark Roberts-228. For women over 200 we have Pam Jones-222, Stephanie Scruggs-211, Sharon Craft-210, Yvonne Scruggs-210,  Sue Strong-209, Brooke Roberts-207, Sharon Craft-204, Nancy Goodner-203, and Julianne Haynes-201.
All series over the 600 mark: Jimmy Scruggs-755, J R Scruggs-699, Mark Roberts-642, Joe Williams-631, Scott Cunningham-625, Steve Remole-615, and Sharon Craft-612.
