     If you had not noticed, it snowed this past week, and several leagues did not bowl. Did I mention that it snowed this past week? Both the Tuesday nite Go-Getters and the Men’s 332 league both cancelled and it appears their games will be made up at the end of the bowling season in May. Did I say it snowed this past week?  In case you do not know it, I hate snow and ice. After living in the San Diego area for over 25 years, I became used to the nice weather that San Diego has to offer. However, being able to come back home has it’s drawbacks, and putting up with winter is one that we will endure.  So, let’s see what we have for you this week. Let’s start with the Sunday Nite Mixed League at Bulan’s. The following bowlers were at least 50 or more pins over their averages. Ricky Porter with a 212, Ryan Smith with a 221, Brent Honn with a 210, Jason Gosnell with a 256, Leslie Miller with a 188, Justin Richison with a 198 and Kevin Bennett with a  202. No games on Tuesday night, so let’s move over to Lincoln Lanes with the Senior League in the afternoon. I neglected to put their report in last week, so I have to redeem myself this week. Stan Harvey had a great 2^nd game, bowling 83 pins over his game with a 268. Clara Copsey rolled a 176 which was 53 pins over her average. Judy Gebhart picked up the 2-7 split, Bill McDaniel picked up the 2-10 split, Martha Elliott converted the 3-9-10, Dale Lierman, snagged the 5-7, Darlene Edwards picked up the 6-10, but Judy Arnett converted the 6-7-10!!

In the Monday Night Church No Tap League, the following rolled at least 50 pins over their average:

Albert Syass-68, Lawrence Craft-73, Stephanie Scruggs-69, and Kristopher Suchaczewski-54

Rule of the Week:

Adult Awards .

  A member is eligible for one award in each of the following categories during a fiscal year

(August 1-July 31):

a.   300*

b.   275 to 299 all averages eligible

c.   250 to 274 with a 225 average or below

d.  225 to 249 with a 200 average or below

e.   200 to 224 with a 175 average or below

f.   175 to 199 with a 150 average or below

g.  150 to 174 with a 125 average or below

h.   125 to 149 with a 100 average or below

i.   Eleven (11) strikes in a row when the score is 299 or less*
