     This has to be the high series of the year!!  Jarrod Warner shot a 878 series out of a possible 900. His games consisted of 289, 300, and 289. He bowled this in the Ball and Chain League in Cissna Park on April 9. Warner averages between a 224 and 229. To say this was a great game, would be an understatement. It was absolutely fantastic!!!!
    Just received word that Jerome Nelson Sr. won the Senior Tournament held this past weekend at both Bulans and Lincoln Lanes, with John Ramsey coming in 2nd.  3rd Place - Eva Nelson, 4th Place - Leroy Hughes and 5th Place - Dom Martin. Congrats folks.    
   Let’s get to the League reports. The Tuesday Nite Men’s 332 League at Lincoln Lanes tells us that Don Miller rolled a 245, which is 62 pins over his average. Other games consisted of a 202 and 224, for a total of 671, 122 pins over his series total. Split pickups were Noel Woods with the 8-9, Bob Brandt wrangled the 5-8-10, Dalton Madsen snagged the 2-5-7, and Tuck Miller and Evan Davis both converted the 5-6. Davis also picked up the 5-10.   In the Tuesday Nite Go-Getters, Tracy Smith rolled a 199 game, 53 pins over average. Sherry Castongue topped out with a 180 game, 55 pins over her average. Mac McDaniel picked up the 5-6 split, while Maggie Birge and Melissa Castle both converted the 3-10, and Jon Castled lassoed the 3-7-10.
    In the Wednesday DNA Karaoke League, Ann Minnette picked up the  6-7 split. This ladies League is looking for more bowlers for next fall. Check with Lincoln Lanes about the 1st of August.
   In the Thursday afternoon Senior League, Rose Newell bowled 53 pins over her game average.  Dot McDaniel picked up the 3-7 split, Barb Smith picked up the 5-10 split and John Gebhart picked up the 4-10.  Ruth Campbell picked up the 5-7, as did Ed Reed. Dale Lierman, Shirley Miller and Margo Johnson picked up the3-10.  Jan Frank and Barb Smith both snagged the5-10, Gerald Arnett knocked out the 2-7, while John Gebhart picked up the 4 -10.
     In the Monday Nite Mixed League at Bulans, It was all about Rich McFarland. He rolled a 287 for a 723 series. The 287 game was 64 pins over his 223 average.
   The Monday Night Church No Tap League is telling us that J. R. Scruggs-278 and Sue Strong rolled a 253. With the 253 gane, Strong bowled a 650 series. Games bowled 50 or more pins over average included  Terry Jones-73, Scruggs-61, Kristopher Suchaczewski-88, Mike Jett-85 and Julianne Haynes-84.  Nancy Goodner picked up the 5-7 split.
     The winter leagues are starting to wind down, and the spring/summer leagues will soon be starting up. This of course includes ALL centers in the Illiana area. We want to hear from Lincoln Lanes, Bulans, Sycamore in Covington, and Fast Lanes in Hoopeston.
