     The Senior State Tournament results are in, and Greg Miller and Margo Johnson lead the pack in placing in the most events. Greg placed 2nd in the Men’s Class D Singles,  4th in the Class D Men’s  All Events, and 4th in Men’s Class D Doubles with his brother Tuck. Margo Johnson placed 5th in both Class A singles, and All Events.
        Others placing high in the tourney results were 2nd place Mixed Double winners Class A, Harvey and Shirley Miller, followed closely by Raymond and Donna Berlin. In Class B Mixed Doubles, Steve and Rose Newell place #2.  Betty Lierman placed 2nd in Women’s Class A Singles, and Judy Gebhart, #9 in Women’s Class B.
       Speaking of Seniors, let’s get to their report for this past week.  John Ramsey and Sandy West both bowled 50 pins over their average, John with a 224, and Sandy with a 177. Several seniors did the splits, among them were Meredith Stokes, who was able to snag the 5-10, Donna Berlin, the 5-7, Dale Lierman, 6-7, and Tuck Miller, the 4-7-9.
        Recently in the DnA karaoke League, Sandy West bowled a 176 which is 52 pins over average. Cheryl Callison rolled a 182 with a 132 ave., Patty Harrier bowled a 189 with a 106 ave., and Virginia Ferpotto picked up the 6-7-10 split.
         Monday Night Mixed League at Bulan’s, reports Steve Brockwell  rolled a 255, and Rich McFarland  258, with a 678 series.  Peggy Decker  51 pins over (144) w/ 93 average. Also at Bulan’s, the Sunday Night Mixed League is telling us that the following bowlers were 50 or more pins over their averages: Mike Richison with a 213, his ave is 147, Chad Cox with a 213, his ave is 157, Bobby Hall with a 279, his ave is 198, Kyle Brewer with a 237, his ave is 150 and Ricky Porter with a 233, his ave is 161.
      Kevin West, once again gets his high series 756, with games including 213,257, and a 287 in the Men’s 332 League. The Tuesday nite Go-Getters’ Dot McDaniel not only picked up the 5-10 split, but she also rolled a 173, 55 pins over her average. Gerald Arnett was 53 pins over his average with a 214. Tracy Smith also picked up the 5-10, and Russ Puzzy was 114 pins over his series average.
      This week, we end with the Monday Nite Church No Tap League. Robbie Ketcherside had a 701 series,  Sue Strong rolled a 717 and Stephanie Scruggs with a 633. The following bowlers were all 50 or more pins over their average: Albert Syass-78, Robbie Ketcherside-57, U Pete Williams-96, Eleanora Young-71, Kristopher Suchaczewski-71, Crystal Suchaczewski-64, and Lynnse Gondzur-55
      Rule of the Week:  103a/1   If the team captain is also an officer, can they vote as a captain and as an officer?  No. Each member of the board is entitled to one vote, whether a league officer, team representative or both. The rule also states a captain may designate another team member to act as the team representative at board meetings. Therefore, if the captain designates another member, the captain is entitled to vote by virtue of the office held, with the other member voting as team representative.
