Calm, cool, and collected was the demeanor of Terrence Cloyd last Friday evening at Lincoln Lanes, when he rolled a 300 game in the Friday Night Mixed League. Cloyd was also on his mark the night before in the Lutheran League, where he shot 48 pins over for a 278, and 49 over for a 279 for a 796 series.

I can tell you that many bowlers were having trouble with their shots on both the Senior League, and the Go Getters.  In the Senior League, only Harlie Huckleby shot 50 or more pins above his average with a 189.  In the split department, I guess the 4-5 combo is getting really easy to pick up. Just ask Dot McDaniel, Ed Reed, Jack Ball, and Essie Syass. Ron Candido knocked out the 5-7, Donna Berlin the 5-10, and Gary Holycross with the 3-6-7-10.
The Tuesday Nite Go Getters’ Susan Brookins was the high bowler for the week with 55 pins over for a 163. Laura Baird, 40 over with a 172., Jan Frank, 52, for a 178, Greg Miller, and Kay Tiffin were both 44 over. Miller with a 222, and Tiffin with a 122.  Split conversions included Mac McDaniel with the 4-5-7, and Jim Miller, and Kaitlyn Hankey with the 5-7.
The Friday Night Mixed League in Covington had  Kevin Brannin shooting a 278, 124 pins over! He also had a 163 and a 141 for a 582 series. Kevin Barnes rolled a 266, 72 over also 213 and 152 for a 631 series. Judy Gebhart picked up the 4-7-10 and Dale Benedict, the 3-7.
Now, the 1st report of the season for the Lutheran League, which bowls Thursday evenings at Lincoln Lanes. Bryan Lawson shot a 265, which was included in a 676 series. Ora Dumas 53 over for a 175. Gabe Garza rolled 61 over for a 230, and74 over for a 243, while Bruce Smith topped his average by 51 pins for a 238.  Chris Candido had a 267, 51 over. Stan Harvey was 49 over with a 220, Jim Thomas, 66 over with a 241, and Shawn Peterson with 54 over for a 245. Bud Taylor shot a 299, and a 697 series.
In the MS Nail Salon league, they are reporting that Frances Miller-Hauf earned her 400 series Award.
