Nov 19th, 2015

The Senior League was a bit slow this week, so to speak as the only high bowlers reported were Raymond Berlin who shot 75 pins over with a 212, and Ida Petty, 78 over for a 198. Oh, so close to that 200, Ida.
Split conversions included: Ida Petty 4-7-10, Margo Johnson 5-8-10, and Pam Jeffers, the 5-7. Bob Coburn, the 5-10, Michael Seward, the 3-9-10 and Jim Thomas, the 2-7-8.
Jim Miller was the high roller for the night for the Tuesday Nite Go Getters as he rolled a 747 series with games of 257, 244, and 266.  Charlie Tiffin’s first night back on the Go Getter league since last season seemed rewarding for him as he rolled a 601 series, including a 224. Steve Lamb shot a 229, 81 pins over, and helped him get 144 pins over his series average. Sue Camarata was 47 pins over for a 149, while husband Mike was 47 over for a 168. Harlie Huckleby rolled 42 over for a 174, while Susan Brookins seems to be on a roll, as she was 41 over for a 153. Mike Swider was 41 over for a 164, Dick Lamb and Sue Strong with both 40 over for a 169, and 191 respectively.
Split pickups included Laura Baird with the 4-5, Dick Lamb, the 5-10, and Harlie Huckleby with the 5-10.
Covington’s Friday Night Mixed League has Alen Arnold with a 266 (80 pins over), and a 204 and a 227 for a 697 series. He has a 184 average .     Fast Lanes in Hoopeston The Sunday night mixed league was on FIRE this week. It was topped off by Jeremy Lane bowling his personal best 791 series with games of 268-269-254. That was followed by Doug Wagoner, 766 with games of 267-242-257 and  then Geoffery Berlin threw in a 277- 673 series. To top that off Helen Taflinger fired a 182 games to go with her 141 average.  The Will Bruen’s men on Thursday saw Tony Gress bowling a 718 series with a 266 game.
