Oct 29, 2015 Beware!!! Some Great bowlings scores are listed below.

       Fast Lanes is having a 9 pin doubles tournament Saturday night at 7:00 pm. Cost is $20.00 per couple.  Last week they had some big scores come in but the most impressive was seeing, a 6-7 and 4-10 split picked up in consecutive frames by  Dani Kirby on the Monday night ladies league.  On the Thursday night league Dave Gaddis had a top score of 234 and Justin Thilmoney's 659. In the youth league Devon Thomas led the way 215 and Kayla Goble had a fine 196. 
      A reminder the 7-8-9 pin tournament is November 14 at 7:00 with first place paying $630.00 to win. This is open to anyone.
      Coming back down to Danville, the Senior League’s Margo Johnson rolled 52 pins above her average for a 182. Terry Bell Jr., was 53 over for a 251. Allen Taylor shot 55 over for 211, and 54 over for a 210. He was also 112 pins over his series average. Ernie Harvey rolled 55 over for a 227, and Harlie Huckleby was also 55 over with a 186. Shooting 59 over average was Stan Harvey with a 246, while Gary Holycross was 76 over with a 243.
      Split conversions consisted of Michael Seward with the 8-9, Bob Maxwell the 4-5, Billy McDaniel the 3-9-10, and Bub Tiffin the 5-7.
     Allen Arnold, bowling in Sycamore Lanes in Covington’s Friday Night Mixed league, shot games of 267-276, and 211 for a 754 series. He was 140 pins over his series average.  The 276 game was 105 pins over average. Also bowling a 700 series was Kevin Barnes with a 714. He shot games of 243, 228, and2 243. Chad Edmiston shot a 601 series with games of 201, 231, and a 169.
    Thomas Bee picked up the 4-7-10, and Judy Gebhart the 4-5-7.
    The MS Nail Salon league is reporting that Pat Harrier picked up a 4-10 split, and Barb Dinsmore earned her300 series award. Tammie Hathaway earned her 400 series patch and her 150 game award, while Dorothy Hesler also earned her 150 game award.

    The Monday Morning Ladies League in Westville has Judy Mariage picking up the 5-6, and Laura Baird with the 3-9-10.
    The Tuesday Nite Go Getters had an active session with Greg Miller getting high honors, with a 661 series. Games included a 225, 215, and 221. Other scores in the Go Getter league included Jordyn Castle with 193, 40 over. Shooting 65 over was Susan Brookins with a 160.  52 over with a 224 was Gary Holycross. Don Miller was 111 pins over series, including two 209 games. Rolling a 176, Harl Miller shot 44 pins over, while Jim Thomas rolled 45 over for a 196, and 58 over for a 209..
     Split knockouts included Martha Elliott  with the 3-9-10, and the 5-6. Josh Wakeland knocked out the 6-9-7, Russ Puzey, the 4-7-10, and John Camarata, the 3-7.
      Think you have what it takes to be one of the top bowlers in the Danville area?  If so, Lincoln Lanes is the place for you.  Friday nights, right after the league ends at Lincoln Lanes! They are having awesome turnouts for this! $10 a person guaranteed 2 games! There are 2 different formats. If i there is 24 or less people that bowl, then after the 2 games they will take the top 12 and out of the top 12 the top 4 seeds will get first round byes. IF there is more than 24 people they will take the top 16 and everyone goes into a 16 man bracket and #1 seed will get there money back! This has been a great time for everyone that has shown up to bowl and they are getting great feedback on the formats. Come on out for lots of fun!!
     Calling all tournament directors. Want your tourney advertised? If that’s the case, just drop me a note, and we will get your info out there. It would be best if you got your info to me 3 or 4 weeks in advance of that event.  When the tourney is over, don’t forget to send the results.
        To all League Secretaries.  Think about giving your bowlers the recognition they deserve. Think of all the high games, and series they are rolling?
