Danville Seniors Travel to Pekin - Nov 13th

    This past weekend, some of Danville’s Senior bowlers traveled to Pekin for their annual state tourney.  The official results are not in, but I think it would be safe to say, we will have some interesting tabulations.
      Fast Lanes, in Hoopeston are going to have a 7-8-9 pin singles tournament on Saturday Night, Nov 22nd starting at 7:00. Groups may call ahead and book lanes. Cost is $25.00 per person. Turkeys will be given away also.
     Speaking of Hoopeston, on the Thursday Night Will Bruens’ League, it was Kyle Richards leading the way with a 244 and Andy Wallace with a 239. Chad Bruens led with a 649 series. Karen Porth led the ladies with a 226 game and on Wednesday night it was Shelia Levitt 221 & 598 series.
     In the MS Nail Salon League, Dorothy Hesler picked up a 5-7-10 split today, and Roma Buese and Tamara Hathaway earned the 175 game award. Frances Miller-Hauf bowled a 412 series for a 400 Series Award and Connie bowled a 509 for 500 Series Award while Donna Rayhel bowled a 203.
     Sycamore Lanes in Covington for the Friday Night League: Ron Cates with games of 205-165-233 for a 603 series, 184 over average.  Scottie Reinken rolled games of 248-267-253-768 series with a 192 average. He received pins for 140 over series, 700 series, a 250 game, and the 267 was 75 over his average.  John Gebhart picked up the 3-10 and the 2-7, JR Messenger picked up the 3-10, Marcy McQueen picked up the 5-10, and Rose Schaeffhold picked up the 5-10 and bowled a 194 (137Average) for 57 over.
      In the Senior League, Alva Gouty bowled a 181 game.  It was 80 pins over his game average. Split conversions consisted of Susan Brookins 5-6; Houston Key and Keith Carter 5-7;  Gary Holycross 5-10; Bob Maxwell and Judy Gebhart the 3-10; Harlie Huckleby 3-7-10 and Margo Johnson the 4-5-7.
    The MeHarry League at Lincoln Lanes had some great scores this past week. They were Joahn Pendleton 71 over average, a 268 game and a 684 series, Bobby Fauver was 68 over, for a 267 game, and a 732 series. Shannon Walls shot 62 over for a 684 series, while Beebop Tetter shot 62 over, while Doc Finch rolled a 260 game, Troy Brigham, a 693 series, and Clarice Wahlfeldt 225 game, and a  654 series.
      Pin action was plenty in the Tuesday Nite Go Getter League, where Joe Elliott was 48 over for a 158. Deb Miller was 59 over with a 166, while John Camarata shot 51 pins over for a 190. Ray Rogers rolled 40 pins above with a 225, Stan Harvey, 62 over with a 243 and Melissa Castle  63 over for a 182, 47 over with a 166, for 105 pins over series average.  Split conversions consisted of Jon Castle with the 3-10; Eddie King and Sue Strong 5-7; Bill McDaniel 6-10; Charlie Tiffin 5-10, Martha Elliott 9-10; Laura Baird 4-5, and 3-7; and Joe Elliott 3-6-7-10.
