Almost Perfect.....Albea Tops Out At 299 - Dec 25th

    Cliff Albea from Covington recently left the 4 pin. How ever he left it after rolling 11 strikes in a row, on his was to a 299 game. Donnie Cheesman shot 299 and an 804 series two weeks ago.    In Hoopeston, the Monday night ladies Karen Porth had a 253-605 followed by Susan Goble & Patty Lowe’s 198. Sunday night was led by Zach Puralwski 234 and Jeremy Lanes 222. Allen Wilson led with a 634. The ladies were led by Diana Judy with a 223 game with a 143 average. The youth keep coming as Kayla Goble had a 245-614 series and Chase Milner had a 163 game 

     Fast Lanes is having an 8 Pin tournament on New Year’s Eve that is open to everyone. Bowl 4 games, throw out your worst? Starting time is 7:00 and is limited to 80 bowlers. Less than 20 remain. Cost is $25.00 per person. There is a band, Past Country starting at 9:00-1:00.

   In the Thursday afternoon Senior League Jan Frank bowled a 184 which was 50 pins over her game average.  Bob Maxwell bowled a 231 , was 81 pins over his game average, while    Raymond Berlin bowled a 189 game which was 50 pins over his game avg. Split conversions consisted of Harlie Huckleby  with the 2-7-10;  Martha Elliott 2-7-8; while John Ramsey, Teddy Carter, and Judy Gebhart, all with the 5-7.  Marion Johnson picked up the 5-10 twice, while Ruth Campbell picked up the 3-9-10 and the 2-8-7.
   The Tuesday Nite Go Getters had Harl Miller rolling 72 over average for a 208, and 52 over for a 188. Keith Carter shot a 186, 59 over. Paula Beatty soled 53 over for a 207 game. Harlie Huckleby was 52 over for a 177, Lisa Moudy 40 over for a 188, and Gary Holycross 55 over for a 233.  John Mikel shot 42 over for a 192, while Whitney Tiffin rolled a 151, 49 over.   Converting splits were  Jim Thomas, the 4-7-7, and Martha Elliott with the 5-7, and the 7-8. Joe Pascal, the 6-7, and Harlie Huckleby, with the 5-6-10. Sue Strong converted the 5-7 while Irv Summers knocked out the 5-8-10.
      In Covington’s Friday Night League, Jessica Barnes had a 185, 47 over, Johnny Fielder with a 230, 51 over, while Jim Hensley shot a 219, 53 over.  Gary Edmiston picked up 3-10, Chad Edmiston 5-7, Keith Barnes 4-7-9, and Tommy Gebhart 5-7
