Nicole Brown threw her 2nd 300 game this past Sunday at
Lincoln Lanes during a doubles tourney. She and her partner, Christopher
Forshier placed 2nd in the tourney. Finishing in 1st
place was Jarvis Brown and Wayne Brown Sr. Darren Van Duyn and Julie Richards
placed 3rd, Ryan Smith and Daryl Smith finished 4th,
while Joshua Troxtell and Ruben Villarreal placed in 5th place. Next
tourney at Lincoln Lanes will be on Veterans Day, Nov 11th, with 3
person teams competing. Next Doubles is scheduled for Dec 9th.
Another upcoming tourney
is schedule for Saturday Nov. 17th at 12pm. At the Westville Legion
Hall. It’s called a Low Game Out Sweeper. You get to bowl 4 games, and throw your lowest
score out. Only 20 entries will be taken, so call Doug Oakes now at
217-304-4735 for more information.
We have 2 new leagues
leagues reporting this week, so let’s get to it.
The Monday Morning Ladies
League in Westville is telling us that Jo Ann Brooks and Alicia Rouse both
picked up the 5-10 split. Phyllis Rhutan rolled 58 pins over her 139 average
for a 197 game.
185 average bowler Kenny
Smith rolled 93 pins over his average for a 278 in the Monday Nite No Tap
Church League, while Nancy Goodner topped out
with a 256, 87 pins over her 169
average. Robbie Ketcherside rolled a 711 series while Scott Cunningham achieved
a 677.Mike Jett also picked up the 5-10 split.
We will be listing games 50 or more pins over average slightly different
in order to save space. The first number will be the high game, followed by
average, then the amount of pins over. The No Tappers report the following: Kenny

The Monday
Night Mixed League at Bulan’s bowl had Linda Chittick picking up the 3-7-10
split. Sandi Burke rolled games of 236 and 237, helping to earn herself a 645
series. Her games were 66 and 67 pins respectively over her average of 170.
Also 50 or more over were: Kim Cotton 223-170-53, and Carol Keller 199-138-61. Thanks to Don

The TLC League
which bowls on Tuesday nites at Bulans is one of our new leagues reporting this
and we both welcome and thank them for submitting their reports. They are
telling us that Dom Martin rolled games of 268, and 239 to help him grab a 684
average. He has a 174 average. Stephen Forshier, a 173 average bowler, rolled a
237, and Jeremy Shumate garnered a 201, 63 pins over his 138 average.
The Tuesday Nite Go Getters reported some
great scores this week with the following persons with score 50 or more over:
Harl Miller 222-140-82, Dick Lamb 213-143-70, Tracy Smith 210-156-54, Maggie
Birge 197-140-57 and Deb Miller 172-118-54. The following splits were
converted: 5-10 by Irv Summers and Melissa Castle, 3-10 Melissa Castle, 4-7-9 and
3-6-7-10 by Joe Davis.
The Senior
league reports the following bowlers achieving 50 or more pins over: Sue Strong
236-158-78, Jack Taylor 213-157-56, Judy Gebhart 201-136-65, Larry Thomas 2
games, each 201-139-62, and Sandy West
176-118-76. Thomas was 121 pins over his series average for a 538. Split
conversions for the Senior League: 4-7-10 Meredith Stokes, 4-7-9 John Ramsey,
6-7-10 Ed Reed and the 5-10, picked up by both Donna Berlin and Bob Maxwell.
Last but not least,
another new league. Welcome to the Friday Night Mixed at Lincoln Lanes. Scores

McFarland had a 268 with a 723 series. He was 58 pins over his 210 average.
Scott Reinken also had a 268 game, 52 pins over his 216 average, finishing with
a 709 series. Brandi Welsch had games of 255 and 257 which helped her get a 723
series. Jennifer Kile had a 225 game, 56 pins over her 169 average. Others
rolling 50 or more pins were: Ty Harmeson 229-176-53, and Victoria Smith
150-94-56.
