Bowling Write ups return to Danville

     Our 1^st week has come and gone, and we do have a bit of news to pass along. I realize it will take a while for everyone to get used to having a bowling column in the Commercial News after such a long absence. Are you ready? Ok, here we go.

      From the Ms. Nail Salon League (Lincoln Lanes), we have the following:

·         Class A:  Sharon Craft rolled a 563 series, while Judy Mentzer had a 202 game.

·         Class B: Tama Treadway and Brenda Lomax tied with a 448 series, and Sara Switzer had the high game of 159.

·         Class C:  Sandy West rolled a 364 series, and Ilse Durbin had a 143 for high game.

       Tops teams for the week in this league were:

·         Rolling Stones had both the actual series with a 1,864 and the actual game with a 639.

·         Juke Box Queens also had Handicap series and game. Series was 1,804, with a 649 game.

       Men’s 332 league (Lincoln Lanes):

·         Class A: Series: Kevin West 678, Game:245

·         Class B: Series: Ed Stone 553, Game: Mark Leverenz 203

·         Class C: Series: Shawn Pasley 566, Game: Doug Ward 215

     As a side note, Danville bowler John Phillips is in the hospital recovering from spinal surgery. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers for a complete recovery. John bowls in the Men’s 332 league.
